January 2026 Newsletter

Three years ago, we founded Rise to provide low-income immigrants pro bono legal services so that they could rise to their full potential. Since then, we’ve served hundreds—helping many obtain legal work authorization and pathways towards permanent residency. Our clients have included asylees, victims of trafficking, crimes, and violence, and residents taking the momentous step of gaining U.S. citizenship. Like our ancestors, and perhaps yours, they fled persecution, famine, violence and other threats in search of a place where they could start anew.

Rise Foundation by Envoy Strengthens Community Ties with Inaugural San Francisco Event

Rise Foundation by Envoy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing free legal immigration services to underserved communities, celebrated a major milestone with its inaugural Meet & Greet in San Francisco on March 6, 2025. Held at True Wind Capital’s stunning bay-view office, the event brought together donors, legal professionals, and advocates for an evening of storytelling, connection, and shared commitment to expanding access to legal aid. Rise Foundation by Envoy Announces Leadership Gift From Foglia Family Foundation

The Rise Foundation by Envoy announced a multi-year commitment from the Foglia Family Foundation to expand access to humanitarian immigration legal services for low-income individuals and families in the Chicago region. The Foundation selected Rise for its growing impact in communities with significant need for accessible, high-quality immigration legal support.
